Message from the CEO
Welcome to our January Newsletter and Happy New Year | Vol. 18, Issue 1.
2022 was certainly a busy year for us all with the number of Elders we support now exceeding 800.
The aged care reforms continue with the Government changing the Aged Care Act, aged care services and aged care regulation. We will provide further updates on these matters, especially changes to aged care services where the Government aims to combine the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Packages.
The Government’s reforms also include service provider governance and we have included some details of the changes in this newsletter.
The ACS Board and staff hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and we looking forward to what 2023 will bring.
