APY Lands

Supporting Elders across South Australia with their aged care needs.

Helping the remote communities of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands

to live independently at home, maintain quality of life and enjoy social and cultural activities. Working with Elders and community about their needs, ACS provides services and supports through our locally staffed community centres in Indulkana, Mimili, Fregon, Amata and Pipalyatjara, as well as our residential aged care facility in Pukatja.

Pipalyatjara Family Centre

Available services

Our Pipalyatjara Centre also provides support services to the community of Kalka.

Tjilpiku Pampaku Ngura - Pukatja

Available services

Opened in 2000 by the then Federal Minister for Aged Care the Honourable Bronwyn Bishop MP,  the Tjilpiku Pampaku Ngura is a 14-bed Residential Aged Care Facility.

Flexible Aged Care (NATSIFAC)

Our Flexible Aged Care Program is designed to provide relatively small amounts of a single or few services to support Elders in maintaining independent community living and wellbeing.

Linen Services

Elders are able to utilise our laundry service for blankets and bedding. Laundry will be collected from the Elders’ residence and returned to them upon completion.

Meals

Our centres are open for breakfast and lunch. Elders can also have their lunch delivered to their home.

Personal care

Assistance with daily self-care tasks to maintain personal hygiene and grooming.

Social Support

Assisting Elders to remain social through one-on-one and group social activities.

Transport

Support for Elders to attend appointments and community activities.
