About the role

In line with food safety regulations, the person in this role will be responsible for cooking and delivering nourishing meals for our Elders, while maintaining kitchen functions, including, but not limited to, the proper storage of ingredients and effective waste management. They will also be responsible for ordering and managing stock.

About you

A current police check, Covid-19 vaccinations and a booster vaccination are mandatory for all staff working with vulnerable people. You will also require an unrestricted Driver’s License. Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the Elders and clients.
Work closely with the staff to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of the Elders
Responsible for stock ordering, rotation, and management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Proactive in anticipating customer needs
Communicate with Elders and clients to understand their individual meal requirements, address any concerns or feedback, and provide information on meal options.
